I wanted to find a good web administration tool for the directory. The best option I found was phpLDAPadmin. As phpLDAPadmin is a web application, it depends on a web server that can serve PHPs. My choice is the Apache HTTPD Server. Version 2.2, which will simply be referred to as "Apache" for the remainder of this post. Which reconfigures Apache to use the prefork.
