Monday, August 16, 2010. Day 4, August 15 - Illampu. We awoke on Sunday morning from our cold night of sleeping and met for a hot cup of coffee in the hotel's restaurant. We then trekked over to another hotel down the road where our cars had been parked overnight and sat down for a delicious buffet breakfast. Healthy and delicious. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Day 5 - August 16. We began our day at Clinica. Where half of us observed an endoscopic abdominal surgery and the other half attended rounds with the physicians. At Clinica. We were able to see the physical therapy clinic in the hospital, met the physical therapist and a very kind patient receiving PT for her wrist. Our next stop brought us to Clinica. Where with spoke with a German patient who had the misfortune of falling while hiking the Incan. Karola did a shoulder inservice.

Sunday, August 15, 2010. Day 3- August 14th: Titicaca and Copacabana. Today, we started bright and early on our adventure to Lake Titicaca and Copacabana! We piled ourselves and our belongings into the SUVs and began trucking along on some very bumpy, steep, and dusty roads. We had stumbled are across a local, daily festival. After waiting for the dancers to pass, we continued on our way to Lake Titicaca. It was beautiful, blue and seemingly endless. Just to keep it brief. August 16, 2010 at 5:53 AM.
