If you watched the President Obama's first State of the Union speech this week, you heard him call for the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", the militaristic version of "love the sinner, hate the sin" that was signed into law by Bill Clinton, the same guy who signed the Defense of Marriage Act. Conversations with Boulder Pride. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. So, as a queer person and activist, I'd really like to see results. And I am personally for a public option. And I wonder, will a federal health care plan be inclusive of gay and lesbian families? I can't claim to understand the complicated outlines I have read.
