About an hour and 45 minutes away by train. It's a pretty sweet locale, I'd say. Brighton is near by, as is Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight too! Friday, June 24, 2011. Amateur Cyclist Coming Through! So I've gained some weight since coming to England. Not a lot, but enough for me and my pants to notice. I blame it on the chocolate digestive cookies. And the tea cakes. Darn those tea cakes. Plus it's a great way to see the sights, get some fresh air, sweat out any nasty toxins, build up the muscle in my lazy legs, use colourful vocabulary when it's windy, and get sopping wet when it rains. All in all, it beats all other modes of transportation!
