We did the tour in style - this is the stretched Hummer we went in. Had a look down Rodeo Drive - a little out of our budget unfortunately. The Rodeo Drive shopping strip. We went out to check out the LA beaches - Santa Monica and Venice Beach. They've got nothing on our beaches back home. View my complete profile.

The famous Joshua Tree, which, so they say, has inspired many including U2! We stopped at a little town called Oatman in Arizona which is an old mining town with nice old locals. Apparently it doesn't snow in London itself too often - something like every 3 years so I guess we must be lucky as there have been 2 different snow falls so far. The first was on 24th Jan while I was away for work in Birmingham but Cass got some good snaps. The first is just outside our door while the second is the park on the way to the tube. With all the rain we got a couple of weeks ago, the grass has been looking greener than it has for a long time, but was desperately in need of a mow. never one to sit on the sidelines, lachlan got out his mower and helped his dadda. he even went over the the neighbour's yard and gave their new turf a bit of a going over too! We woke up and I made him one of his favorite breakfasts, Cowboy Eggs :). All morning he was driving me a little nuts because he just wanted to go. School isn't until 1:00 so it was a long morning. Tuesday, June 17, 2008. You pretty much eat the whole fish here. I saw a guy eat an eye the other day, pretty sick. Native village that we spent a day at. Indigenous market and village toilet. We are here in Amazonas! We are spending a month with a church here. The town is located on the Orinoco River, which is amazingly huge! A view from the overlook point, looking on the river. Thursday, November 6, 2014. Halloween and 10 months! McKall had a great Halloween (as great of a Halloween as a 10 month old could have). She could have cared less about the costumes or the candy but this mama sure had fun dressing her up! We got some outfits from her cousins and I couldn't decide which one to have her wear so she wore two costumes to different events. She looked adorable in both! McKall is 10 months old! I definitely wouldn't mind doing another half sometime, perhaps sometime soon.
