Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Laken's First Camping Trip. Megan, Trevor and Micah. We gathered around the fire and we all shared our "marriage advice" with Megan and Trevor. I like to philosophize and theologize life. Nice to meet you. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Discipline is a Language. I had a nice conversation with a friend lately about the "s" word.spanking. This friend had a very understandable and heartfelt concern that her child might not truly understand what a spanking might be when done at a young age. I think this is a common theme throughout Western thought processes. As a mother, I understand where this concern comes from. Of course, all these are graces of God.

Tuesday, August 20, 2013. The last few weeks and months before your arrival left me a very anxious mama. I was very hopeful you’d come early since I had a work event on September 17. And wanted as much time as possible with you beforehand. I knew your sister came early and really hoped you would too. Your due date was August 16. And I spent the week or two beforehand trying all sorts of ideas to get labor going-I even did acupuncture for the first time! As of Monday the 5. But we rescheduled it for the 12.
