Finding JOY in the chaos. Well hello there blog. How I've missed you. This tired mamma's been busy busy. Not sure doing what.but it feels like life is flying by. Sorry for all the iphone pics. I haven't picked up my real camera since Christmas. Sadsville. Ok, so this happened. And it's a BOY! Due Dec. 5th! I'm almost 22 wks. And the heart looks great! We go to Jackson next week to meet with a specialist to get a second opinion, so say prayers! And he made eyes at me several times during the concert;).

Finding JOY in the chaos. My pregnancy with Russ was definitely the hardest on me. I don't know if it was because I felt so bad or if it was because it was exhausting taking care of 2 small people while pregnant. Anywhoo.my 9 lb. 2 oz. baby had no where to go in my stomach and I seriously thought my skin was going to POP at any minute. See exhibit A! Getting ready to go into surgery bright and early! It was a scheduled c-section at 39 wks. It was love at first sight for Maggie! Getting too big too fast.

Lake St. John. After months of planning and keeping a very very tight lip, we (my entire family.about 30 people) pulled off the ultimate suprise birthday weekend for my grandparents at Lake St. John! We kicked the wkd off by suprising Tricia and Pappy at The Ducks Nest (a great restaurant on the lake). How many people does it take to fix an ice cream maker? Ahhhha weekend full of fishing, family and the beautiful outdoors. I couldn't ask for much more! Barrier and I spent the weekend in Bassfield helping my grandparents clean out their goldfish pond (which we consider fun) and also did a little fishing with the fam. After a long hard battle Barrier finally snagged the big one (in which he properly named "Shit" .thats what he said after every miss) He caught "Shit" and then he let "Shit" go. what a bitter sweet victory! The most beautiful place on Earth!

Since Bear and I were in college and had our little rent house (ya'll remember the one! We have planted a garden.oh yes, even in the rent house we had a garden in the back yard! The Tornado from Hell hits Yazoo City! While Bear and I were at the beach, a tornado struck Yazoo City leaving several dead and destroying hundreds of homes.
