We will meet at the church office on Saturday, February 27 at 9:00 am to fill the backpacks, you will be assigned to a group and then hit the streets to distribute the packs. Let me know if you have any questions or need more information. Monetary donations needed to purchase the bags. 100 small jars of peanut butter (80 jars needed). 100 toothbrushes (50 more). 100 tubes of toothpaste ( 85 more). 100 towels (85 more).

There have been many things that I could have done if I had only made the attempt. What stops me? I'm sure there are many factors but two really have grabbed my attention over the last few weeks. Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,. I press on toward the goal to win the the prize . The second is when the task or goal seems unattainable...

Points from the Bridge. Monday, March 21, 2011. The other day I had the privilege of doing a memorial service for an incredible women. Her name was Betty Williams. She lived to be 94 years old. Her life was an incredible testimony of service, perseverance and faith. One of the things I discovered in talking with her family was that she was a poet. I got the opportunity to read some of her work and the one below stood out. I do not long for wealth or fame;. I'm sure in history books my name.
