http://khgillette.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 20, 2009. We had a flurry of excitement over the Christmas holiday! Lots of photos can be found here. And to help you keep the girls straight, I've included a hint on how you can tell them apart in each outfit. (smile). On the 25th we spent the morning at our house, seeing what Santa brought us (a dollhouse and tunnel for the girls! And opening our family gifts. Photos of Kaitlin and Hannah in pajamas are from that morning. Hannah's PJs are snowflake, Kate's are solid. On Sunday the 28th...

Kaitlin & Hannah: August 2009

Friday, August 21, 2009. Vacation in Branson, MO. This summer we took a trip to Branson, MO. We met Dave's parents and his sister there and spent a long weekend together. The other highlight was swimming at the condo development's pools - both a baby pool and the big pool. It was Kate and Hannah's first experience with something other than a sprinkler and inflatable pool in our back yard and they loved it! We need to enroll our little fish in swim lessons soon. Enjoy all the photos from the trip.

Kaitlin & Hannah: Ann and Brody visit
http://khgillette.blogspot.com/2008/11/ann-and-brody-visit.html
Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Ann and Brody visit. One Friday morning Ann Woo, my friend from work, and her son Brody came to visit. There are pictures from a previous trip we made to their house earlier in this blog. Brody wasn't quite sure about Apollo, nor about sharing his mom's lap with two other kids! Ann and I were too busy wrangling kids that we didn't get much time to chat, but it sure was a fun way to spend a Friday morning anyhow! Many pictures of the kids being kids are here. Kaitlin & Hannah: Halloween and Fall Leaves
http://khgillette.blogspot.com/2008/11/halloween-and-fall-leaves.html
Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Halloween and Fall Leaves. For Halloween this year, Hannah dressed as a duck and Kaitlin was a dog. We figured those are animal noises they can make, so it would work out well! The girls really enjoyed the start of the afternoon/evening - the weather was beautiful, so we went outdoors about 3:45 to start handing out candy. They were both so excited when someone actually came to the house and they could drop candy into the bags or buckets! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Kaitlin & Hannah: At the Orchard
http://khgillette.blogspot.com/2008/11/at-orchard.html
Wednesday, November 5, 2008. One Saturday in late October we trekked to Malta (outside DeKalb) to the Jonamac Orchard. We met Grandpa Dashner and the Fischer family to pick apple and pumpkins. It was the girls' first experience eating whole apples. they decided they don't like the peel! Unfortunately our camera battery died so we don't have too many pictures. But from this sample. You can see we had a really good time! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Other Sites I Like. Ann and Brody visit.

Kaitlin & Hannah: Petting Zoo
http://khgillette.blogspot.com/2008/07/petting-zoo.html
Wednesday, July 9, 2008. We've been zoo members (surprise! Pretty much since we moved to Brookfield. But now we can tell it's really going to come in handy! Living so close means we can go for just a quick visit - and still get home in time for naps. One day in June Grandma Kathy came out to spend the day with Dave and the girls while Beth worked. Looks like a good time was had by all! There are, of course, more photos to be seen.here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Other Sites I Like.

Kaitlin & Hannah: May 2008
http://khgillette.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 22, 2008. One Wednesday in May I had a meeting in Schaumburg. This was the week that our family room was torn up, so Charlotte and the girls were banished to the office upstairs (quite smaller than their normal play area! So I called my friend Ann Woo to see if we could come for a visit on her day off. She said, "sure" (I think she didn't know what she was in for! When we got there Ann's son Brody was sleeping, so Kate and Hannah helped themselves to his toys! More pictures can be seen here.

Let's not forget the surreal experience of court in Chic. It's amazing to think how small they were, and how much we've all changed! 3-18-2008 - Happy First Birthday Kaitlin and Hannah! I don't recommend you start your day this way, but we did! In an ambulance, so I guess it's fitting! They both were seen by the doc...
