Thursday, August 23, 2012. Time has flown by. i can't believe i am starting Round 3. For the past 2 weeks, i've been hard at work in Room 5. Preparing for the 2012-2013 school year. Kirk was SO cute to come and help me a couple of days. I don't know how I ever prepared my room without his help. Here's a quick glimpse of the final product. Bathroom has been scrubbed and polished. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Today in clinical I had a patient who was cranky, short-tempered,. And not so pleased with us.and wasn't afraid to express it. Usually when this happens, you can take it as an indicator. Of what the rest of the day will be like with them. And it's so easy to put a label on someone after something. Like that happens, and you can't help but dread going into their room. But today, we [ the other nursing student and I. Practice patience and empathy with her. This melts my heart!
