DoubleEnder Update, October 2015. Our hope is to present the new airplane during 2017, and assuming everything meets our expectations, we will start offering kits for the airplane. In the meantime take a look at a new flight report that just came out. In August, I met up with Zane from BackCountryPilot who produced a nice flight report in the form of a write-up and video. Is the DoubleEnder available for sale? Not at this time. We are currently designing the side by side version of the DoubleEnder, and we are considering bringing it to the kit market when it is complete. This could happen as early as 2017. How much will the kit cost? It is too early for us to put a price on it. Do you plan to attend any of the air shows? So far we do not have any firm plans to attend any air shows. Do you plan to make any wing modifications available to the experimental market?

The DoubleEnder is in a state of constant evolution. In the meantime here are some general specs:. Powerplant: 2 × Rotax 914 (modified to 130 hp each). Total Hp: 260 hp. Propeller: Warpdrive 3 blade 72”. Fuel type: Premium or 100LL. Fuel Capacity: 103 Gallons (Wings Tanks = 48 Optional Belly Pod. Endurance: 9 hours with optional belly pod. Cruise Speed: 115 mph. Landing Speed: 36 mph. Empty Weight: 1500 lbs. Gross Weight: 2500 lbs.
