Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Friday, May 29, 2009. May is already over? Here's what we've been up to this busy month. This is our "new" 10 month old beagle from the animal shelter. The girls named him Charlie after the cartoon "Charlie and Lola," but Carrie calls him "Lola" quite a bit! He's REALLY sweet, great with the kids, and he has a great raspy, deep, howling bark. But he doesn't bark too much, so he's really perfect! Cousin sleepover #i've lost count!

Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Today we went to the apple orchard that's a few miles from us with our mom's group from church. The girls had fun riding their train, playing in the barn with a giant slide, and petting and feeding the goats, chickens, and alpaca. An alpaca is like a smaller version of a llama, and it's sooooo cute! I think maybe I can convice Michael to let us get one as a pet! Monday, September 15, 2008. At supper ti...

Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Saturday, July 11, 2009. We've been so busy during the month of June that it feels like we haven't been able to enjoy the summer. But that all changed this week. We finally had a week with nothing at all to do! Funny thing, though.I don't have a single picture! Thursday, July 2, 2009. June's over, too! Where did June go? I thought I was going to update the blog more than once a month! This is Ruthy, Moriah, and Hannah. Javan, Alli...

Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. It's been so long. We were able to spend an evening with my sister Rachel and Mark, too, and the kids had fun there too! Horseshoes are an Illinois food, yum! The next day Rachel and Mark arrived and the house was full of kids ages 6,5,4,3,2, and 1! The kids played dress-up, and they danced and ran around while Mark played the piano. We are so thankful to have family nearby. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Saturday, April 17, 2010. The last part of DECEMBER 2009. Mike and the girls sledding in about an inch and a half of snow! We caroled our neighbors and friends and delivered a fresh loaf of homemade french bread. The girls loved it! The girls are clearly paying close attention to Daddy reading the Christmas story from the Bible before we open presents. All the gifts and the bright, shiny lights. And Alli being silly. Grandma and G...

Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Sunday, December 20, 2009. Alli's preschool had Santa and Mrs. Claus come to their Christmas party. They were so sweet and had a list of things to say about each child. The kids sang them two songs they had rehearsed, and they baked cookies and decorated a gingerbread house for them, too! The first snow of the season. About a 1/2 inch! Had lots of fun. Charlie liked it, too. Not pizza on Earth! Hannah has been complaining of not f...

Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Here are some funny moments I've been trying to remember.I hate it when I forget some really good ones. And I know this list is missing some I've forgotten. Oh well. Since about Halloween when Carrie prays she carefully closes her eyes, folds her hands, bows her head and says only this, "Dear God, yank you my can go to JU-EEE'S HOUSE! Meaning, of course, "thank you I can go to Julie's house! She said tha...

Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Sunday, April 18, 2010. Indianapolis Museum of Art. Hannah and I went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) yesterday. Alli and Carrie stayed home with a babysitter, and they thought that was pretty cool, too. It was so nice to spend a day with just Hannah, and I knew she would appreciate the IMA. As expected, she had a great time and we have a long list of things to see/do when we go back. My 6 year old by the number 6. This wa...

Life at Camp Allendale with our three girls.lots of fun, lots of memories. Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Stitches, spelling, snowsuits, and soapbox. Last weekend we tried out the new pizza place in Trafalgar. I didn't take much for the girls to play with since I figured we wouldn't have to wait long- it's Trafalgar after all, how many people in a town this big could order pizza at one time? I DO NOT WANT THEM TO SEW ON ME! Carrie can be jealous and bossy at times with her sisters. I've been watching a ...
