GOD ANSWERS HIS KNEE-MAIL. When we submit to Him, God rewards us. And He answers our knee-mail. Kneeling represents submission and humbling oneself, and that puts our thoughts and attitudes in the right perspective as we come before God with our praise, confession, gratitude, and requests. How often do we humble ourselves before the Lord? Do we consciously note that He is holy and we are not? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Poetry of Renewal | Renewing Your Spirit
https://renewingyourspirit.wordpress.com/after-the-storm
The leaves are wisps in the wind. So young and new and light. Fluttering about without a care. And all the world seems right. Flashes of green and yellow. As they turn in their sprightly dance. A breeze so light and crisp. Adds to Spring’s romance. The wind belies the storm ahead. That tests the little leaves. In the sky there looms a shadow. That will change their life of ease. Their movement spins erratically. As the wind blows brisk and strong. The storm comes in and threatens life. Build a website wi...

Palm Sunday | Renewing Your Spirit

April 1, 2012 at 1:43 pm ( Faith. California, 1991 – I stood under the tall palm treeamazed! They thought he was going to be the One who delivered from the oppression of the Romans; when, really, he wanted to deliver them from the oppression of their sin. As you praise Him today on Palm Sunday, remember to praise Him for His greatness in overcoming sin for us, delivering us from the Kingdom of Darkness and transferring us into the Kingdom of Light! November 19, 2011 at 12:25 pm ( Rest. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. and be thankful. Let the Word of Christ. Dwell in you richly. Colossians 3:15 and 16. The dove is the universal sign for peace. I often wonder why it is always seen as flying away. Does the dove carry the worry, anxiety, anger, frustration and fear away from people? Or does it just represent a calming effect as we see its beauty in flight? How do we let the Word of Christ dwell in our hearts? Also, these concepts are inter...

Rocky Paths of Life. July 18, 2012 at 12:47 pm ( Security. Rocky Paths of Life. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Ps 119:105. July 18, 2012 at 1:51 pm. Well-written devotional. It reminds me so much of when our children were young, and didn’t want to take our hands when we walked. Their favorite words were, “I can do it by myself.” Eventually they realized–just as we do–that we can’t. We need the Lord’s help. July 18, 2012 at 2:06 pm. July 18, 2012 at 2:17 pm. God Listens | Renewing Your Spirit

January 10, 2012 at 1:59 pm ( Faith. Jeremiah 33:3a – “Call unto me and and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things…”. After having brain tumor surgery, I was in the ICU at the hospital for weeks. There, I had a nurse named Liz. Her family was originally from the Bahamas, so she had the remnants of an islander accent. I was never as happy as when I heard that accent on the other side of the curtain. She was the best nurse I’ve ever had! January 10, 2012 at 10:09 pm. Enter your comment here.
