Floral and Art Infused Evolution. Friday, January 23, 2015. The Art of Feather Boutonnieres. I like to think that boutonniering as a skilled talent. One must have the patience and tolerance for the tedious and complex work that goes into this floral design. It takes concentration and amazing attention to detail to create these miniature works of art. Black dyed rooster coque tail feather, trumpet vine leaves and variegated evergreen. Scented geranium leaves, date palm berries and spotted guinea feather.

IOBette: July 2014
http://iobette.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Floral and Art Infused Evolution. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Hands down without a doubt Beyonce is one hot woman. Her song lyrics to Drunk in Love are titillating, exciting and naughty. When I was designing this arrangement the song literally kept playing in my head over and over. This design evokes strong color emotion, movement, texture and certainly juiciness from the oranges and watermelon which you could definitely say about Beyonce' and her songs. Why can't I keep my fingers off it, baby?

Floral and Art Infused Evolution. Friday, June 5, 2015. Tin Can Jardineras en una Fiesta de color! It was super easy for me to find brightly colored tin cans here in Southern California. The spicy sauces and Mexican flavors of San Diego are everywhere. Spanish culture is celebrated on a daily basis and is so prevelent in our society. I pay homage to this culture with my California tin can planters brimming with whimsical celosia, portulaca, strawberry vine and darling succulents. View my complete profile.
