The Taylors: January 2010
http://adventuresofthetaylors.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 28, 2010. Other tricks Evie showed her Grandma include: eating baby food, sleeping through the night, having fun at the mall, rolling over, and squealing. What an exciting weekend for Grandma to visit. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Evie loves grabbing the spoon when I feed her. The only problem is that can become a very messy game. After I finish feeding her, I usually let her play with a clean spoon and bowl. Fun in the Bath. We have a sitter! We are so proud of our strong baby! One of my...

Updates on feeding, fostering, adoption, serving the Bible-less, plus, you know, normal stuff. April 21, 2015. SO YEAH if you managed to miss it recently, Dane has accepted a job offer in Houston and we are MOVING in about 3 weeks. So there’s that. And now you know. The good news is, if we don’t love the idea of our little dude being like 4 1/2 years older than his younger sibling (I don’t know but I’d love for them to be closer), we don’t actually have to start with newborns! Maybe But you know what?

Good Friday | The Family Daniels

Updates on feeding, fostering, adoption, serving the Bible-less, plus, you know, normal stuff. April 3, 2015. Last year I wrote a blog post called Tenebrae. It was about the things I was believing would die on Good Friday, and the things I was believing would get up and go out, Sunday morning. I stand by that. But I have a somewhat different perspective now. A friend asked me recently what Good Friday and Easter actually mean, actually to me, actually now, in 2015. In the name of Jesus himself. And the t...

The Taylors: Our Very Own Santa
http://adventuresofthetaylors.blogspot.com/2015/02/our-very-own-santa.html
Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Our Very Own Santa. One Saturday morning we visited Old Town Coppell's Christmas on Main Street. Evie spent about five minutes perusing her Toys R Us catalog, pointing out her Christmas wishes. Katy was not at all thrilled about it. Who can blame her! They also had horse carriage rides, but we opted for face painting instead! Labels: Old Town Coppell. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Girl and a Glue Gun. Caring Bridge for the Knights. Sunday, November 29, 2009. This morning Evie was baptized with her friend Asher. It was such a precious moment. I am so glad Evie has so many loving people around her willing to do their best in honoring Christ. We spent Thanksgiving morning walking three miles at Andy Brown Park. We had our own Turkey Trot in Coppell! Our long trek, worked up an appetite! This onesie is a little too small! Tuesday, November 24, 2009. It's not even thanksgiving yet. It's not even Thanksgiving yet! Trying to sit up. Novem...

Sunday, April 25, 2010. Standing and Walking with Support. A Week of Milestones! This has been a VERY exciting week! It started with Sophia's birth, and it just kept getting better. Wednesday afternoon Clare sent a text that said, "We have a breakthrough! Clare rushed to get the video camera, but she couldn't get the shot in time! She hasn't done this for me yet, but after everynap Evie now crawls over to the bumper, pulls it down, and looks through the slats. BATH IN THE BIG TUB. Evie has been taking ba...

Friday, May 29, 2009. A Baby Shower with Fourth Graders. Some of my students' moms organized a baby shower for me. They did a fabulous job of involving the kids by playing bingo and guess the size of Mrs. Taylor's belly! I was a good sport and let each child wrap their strip of tape around me to see if their guess was right. Well, we did have a winner. The actual inch measurement was quite shocking! We had a great time, as you can see in the pictures. My "children" pretending to be babies. This after noo...

Friday, April 24, 2009. Picking a Name.Evangeline Lillian. It was not an easy task choosing a name for the baby! After lots of deliberation, Judd suggested Evie. In one of our favorite Natalie Portman. We figured out later on that an actress on the show is named Evangeline Lily. Later on I also learned that there is a Pokemon. Years from now people won't know about Lost or Pokemon. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Wow, it's hard to believe I am already six months pregnant! Sunday, April 12, 2009. As a teacher,...
