Kevin and I have been together for over 15 years. We got married in the summer of 2012 and had our dream rustic wedding in a big ole' red barn. In pursue of Kevin’s career in medicine we have moved from our hometown in Southern California to Newcastle England, the Caribbean Island of Grenada back to Southern California, New York and now back to California all in the last 4 years. On August 7, 2013 we welcomed our daughter, Ryleigh Paige into the world. She is the star in our life and of this blog.

She was sick and bow legged from malnutrition among other things. She no longer has bowed legs and is getting healthier each day ♥. This is Vera the day we found her. Sometime around 3:30 pm I decided that natural childbirth was not for me. At least this time around. That was shortly after arriving at the hospital and learning I was 6 cm dilated, an hour and a half after I lost my lunch and contractions started coming every three minutes.
