Today's post is from Rachel Lance, offering her perspective as Shierry's mom. When you're stuck on a liquid diet and bound to an IV drip, it's difficult to get what you want. But not impossible. After a day in which she consumed no calories and rejected a therapy dog, right around shift change, Shierry decided to put on a show.

You might qualify for state funding to subsidize your retreat expenses. Most states have funds available for families attending educational meetings. In many of these instances, CCA’s Craniofacial Symposium which kicks off the retreat weekend meets these qualifications. Check the agencies in your state to see if you qualify.
