It does not feel like I am simply going through the motions anymore. I still have an overwhelming amount of appointments, pills, treatments, infusions, tests, etc. But it’s not all. I have been in the hospital and I have gone on vacation. I have had a blood clot in my heart and I bought my first car. I’ve gotten shots and taken shots.

The Rituximab stopped working and was causing too many side effects so the doctors started me on a new medication called Gleevac. My liver enzymes elevated substantially. Monday, September 19, 2016. Fall Vibes and Fun Times. Bombers and suede are a few of my favorite trends this fall. Although it's not quiet "fall" yet here in AZ, I like to pretend it is. It's my favorite season, when the air is crisp and the leaves start to change. It's perfect here. These pieces are amazing for the transition from summer to fall. I was on Neupogen shots for a few weeks after I got my cells to stimulate cell growth and help with engraftment. MOST PAINFUL SHOT OF MY LIFE! Wednesday, August 27, 2014. It's day 3, in transplant language that's 3 days after you get your cells. That was an incredible day, but since then, things have just not been easy. My counts are dropping, which is expected. My ANC is pretty much non-existent, so I am very susceptible to infection, and my hemoglobin and platelets continue to drop.
