Monday, November 3, 2008. Sunday, November 2, 2008. What is going on? Best Buds - Successful trunk-or-treating. Lightening McQueen and Spiderman. We had a great time getting ready for Halloween! The customes were fun, and pumpkin carving was an adventure! Brenden isn't quite sure he likes the idea of having to clean out the pumpkin, but loved Matt's carving talent. Slovenian Mama: Lights in Ljubljana
http://emilliekarintoone.blogspot.com/2010/01/lights-in-ljubljana.html
Tuesday, January 5, 2010. So right before I was able to go home for the Holidays, which pictures from the Holidays will come soon, I was able to go to Ljubljana with some of my team and see the lights in the main center. The lights are not even close to the lights at Temple Square, but it was still fun to see how each city in Slovenia decorates their city for Christmas time! January 19, 2010 at 2:59 PM. Slovenian Mama: Weekend with Erin and Richie
http://emilliekarintoone.blogspot.com/2009/11/weekend-with-erin-and-richie.html
Monday, November 2, 2009. Weekend with Erin and Richie. This past weekend Erin and Richie came all the way to Slovenia to visit me for a few days! They were so sweet to take a few days from their adventures around Europe to come and visit me! We had a blast! I don't think that I have ever eaten that much Netella in one weekend in my life, but it was completely worth it! In fact, Erin and I are starting our own business once we both get settled! One of the nights we played "Shuk-e-darn," or "Mormon Bridge...

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. We are getting so excited for the holiday season, and it has been really fun now that the boys are getting into the spirit of things. We have had alot of fun making some decorations in anticipation for Halloween, visiting a pumpkin patch and farm, and just enjoying the fall weather! I love pulling out the warm pj's so that we can start bundling up for the cold weather. This is a typical picture of our boys together - they are like two peas in a pod, and love being together.

Saturday, March 21, 2009. Brenden is a huge sports fan, and really loves playing any sport. Right now he loves playing baseball with his tennis racket. The fun thing is that Brenden has to be wearing his baseball hat whenever he plays. He saw his friend Dillan (age 6) wearing the catcher's helmet for T-ball, and so Brenden has to always wear his hat. :). Nathan keeps growing like a weed! We are kind of bias, but we love our boys and think they are so cute! February was an adventure! First off, we had, wh...

Clever Title Blogs Inc.: The Avengers
http://clevertitleblogs.blogspot.com/2012/05/avengers.html
Tuesday, May 15, 2012. The Avengers had the biggest opening weekend of any movie EVER, by a huge margin. Is it the best movie ever? Not even close, but it is a lot of fun and way above average as far as superhero movies go. I wouldn't necessarily say it's fun for the whole family though. I saw quite a few very small children being dragged into the theater because, well, even though movie tickets are expensive they are still much cheaper than a baby sitter these days right? Now that The Avengers have thei...

Clever Title Blogs Inc.: breaking dawn part 2
http://clevertitleblogs.blogspot.com/2012/11/breaking-dawn-part-2.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Breaking dawn part 2. It was a Monday night and the place wasn't crowded by any means but still. As I walked up to the ticket counter the girl behind it asked me which movie I wanted to see. I quickly glanced both ways, leaned in just a little, raised my right hand to the left side of my mouth and whispered behind it "twilight". Vampire Bella is distractingly pretty and I'm not just imagining this. bd2 contains flashback scenes which show her progression through the five f...

Friday, July 29, 2011. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Even though DH2 has the advantage of containing several of the "r" words mentioned in my previous post on Catching Fire (resolution, redemption, retribution etc.) as well as the series climax it just didn't quite live up to my hopes for the final movie. I mean the um differences. Another thing that kind of put me off of the later movies is the battle scenes. Particularly the suspiciously ballistic and/or explody nature of the spells...

Clever Title Blogs Inc.: March 2012
http://clevertitleblogs.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. The Hunger Games (movie). We all know not to judge a book by its… movie, so I guess it would also seem proper not to set expectations of a movie based on its book. You’d think that after Harry Potter and then twilight. No matter how hard we try to go in with low expectations there is always that sneaky bit of hope that always seems to hide away in some deep dark corner until inevitably the time comes to jump out and wallow in disappointment. We never really learn enough about the ...

Clever Title Blogs Inc.: Double Bill at the Waterton Lakes Opera House
http://clevertitleblogs.blogspot.com/2011/08/double-bill-at-waterton-lakes-opera.html
Saturday, August 27, 2011. Double Bill at the Waterton Lakes Opera House. I can't remember the last time I saw two movies back to back in a theater, I can guarantee that it was some time during the last millennium. I also saw faint shades of Somewhere in Time in Midnight in Paris. Just because Gil's longing for an earlier time ends up actually taking him there but I guess that's all I should mention about that. Along with the nice little life lesson Midnight in Paris provides a lot of laughs, some smart ...
