Photography; A Level Unit 2 – 6. Understand photography as a medium for artists’ work. From looking at the background from both angles zoomed it looks like the photograph was taken in front of a house simply because, there’s the window frame and nets in the windows, also the gritty plain background, so this suggests the building was painted as it’s plain. He was an American photographer and modern art promoter who was instrumental over his fifty-year career in making photography an accepted art form. When he had bought his first camera he traveled through the European countryside, taking many photographs of landscapes and peasants in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. He then in 1892 bought his first handheld camera which was a Folmer and Schwing 4×5 plate film camera. Location; Rural area.

Photography; A Level Unit 2 – 6. Develop Ideas Through Exploration of Technique, Processes or Materials. In this image I used the same lighting I did with my first subject but with my actual subject I’ll be using for my final photo’s. It was still a little too light on the background so It meant experimenting further. This is with the lighting adjusted further, creating a really dark background but then lighting up the face. This will be the lighting effect I will be using in LO4 for my photographs.

Photography; A Level Unit 2 – 6. Places I plan on going to Photograph;. Bilston Town – Preferably the town hall/Clock tower/Small Cramped high street. What time of Day;. During the time of taking these photographs I will make sure I’m working and being safe by making sure that I’m not close to water, taking someone with me during my shoots, making sure I’m careful and quiet around animal and also having someone be my spotter if I come to any train tracks or roads on the way. Taken at Hickman Park mid Day.
