When our first grandchild was born, we were ecstatic. Suddenly we began to see the world through a child's eyes again. And there we encountered many things that made us think, "If children could, they would change that." But they cannot. Children need a Helping Hand," we recognized and started a Reisenthel initiative with the intention of supporting projects that help children. Since 2010, under the patronage of Katrin Aust, more than Euro 120 000 have been invested in over 47 projects.

Since the beginning our initiative has already supported 53 interesting projects by child care facilities with a total of 143,000 euro. We want to continue this success story. For this reason, we will now sponsor projects of other charitable organizations that foster children and their families. We are looking forward to a great number of applications outlining further interesting projects for children.

2010 hat PRIPA in Urapola, einem Dorf 55km nordöstlich von Colombo (Sri Lanka), begonnen, eine neue Produktionsstätte aufzubauen. Im Bewusstsein um die soziale Verantwortung wurde klar, das PRIPA sich in Urapola sozial engagieren wird.
