However, since some Asian languages such as Japanese and Korean share some similarities to Chinese language, for example, characters are also used in these languages although the pronunciation can be totally different. In such cases, the names are usually translated based on the written form rather than the pronunciation. 阿贝尔 (ā bèi ěr ). 亚当 (yà dāng ). 艾丹 (Aì dān ). 艾娜 (ài nà ). 阿姬娃 (ā jī wá ). 阿拉娜 (ā lā nà ).

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival
http://chinese4kids.net/blog/happy-mid-autumn-festival
History and Modern Days. For Chinese, today is a special day. It is so called Mid-Autumn Festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the Chinese calendar (Aug. 15), which is usually mid or late September of the Solar calendar. Why Aug. 15? Here is a song for today, “ Wishing We Last Forever. 8220;, a song based on a famous Chinese poet, 苏轼(sū shì ) Su Shi, also commonly known as 苏东坡(sū dōng pō ) Su Dongpo (1037-1101). A great poem about moon, love and life.
