Anatomy of a Gastroenterologist: Punta Arenas and The Straits of Magellan
http://codebrowndr.blogspot.com/2014/02/punta-arenas-and-straits-of-magellan.html
Anatomy of a Gastroenterologist. Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Punta Arenas and The Straits of Magellan. From Mendoza we flew through Santiago and down to Punta Arenas. The most memorible part of this portion of our trip was visiting Isla Magdalena to see the penguin colony. This little island is home to between 150,000 and 300,000 penguins. We took a two hour boat trip, one way, through Comapa. We absolutely loved the bed and breakfast we stayed at Hotel Ilaia. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tri De...

Anatomy of a Gastroenterologist. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. This weekend Annie and I squeezed in a quick trip to Kohler, Wisconsin for a spa getaway. When I say "quick," I mean it. We were there for less than 24 hours, but we left feeling 100 percent revived and relaxed. Photo from Kohler Water Spa. Photo from Kohler Water Spa. We were escorted downstairs to the Kohler Water Spa. We quickly changed and started with our TWO HOURS of planned services. Dinner at Blackwolf Run. After the spa we checked into ...

http://codebrowndr.blogspot.com/2014/02/two-weeks-in-south-america.html
Anatomy of a Gastroenterologist. Monday, February 17, 2014. Two Weeks in South America. We just returned from a spectacular two week journey to South America. Our journey was really complied of three very different adventures which we put together after endless hours on Trip Adviser, Fodors, Lonely Planet and of course blog searching. I loved reading other people's blogs about where they stayed and what they did. Over the next few days, I'll do the same for our travels. First Stop: Mendoza, Argentina.

Anatomy of a Gastroenterologist: July 2013
http://codebrowndr.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Anatomy of a Gastroenterologist. Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Racine 70.3 Race Report. Five years later, I revisited the site of my first half-ironman. Sunday morning wake up call at 3:45 am, yikes. Jay and I rolled out bed and into the car in order to make it to Racine, get set up and out of the transition area before it closed at 6:30. I ran into so many old friends from WellFit and Chicago, it felt more like a social event than a race day. Then we made the 1 mile walk down the beach for the swim start.

Anatomy of a Gastroenterologist: September 2012
http://codebrowndr.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Anatomy of a Gastroenterologist. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Don't let me fool you. With my 20 days in a row working 10 hour days and my board exam next week there has been little time for exploring my new city. No manicures. Few phone calls. Feeling overall fairly unsettled. So Jay and I did make time for The Milwaukee Glo Run on Saturday night. Our homemade chili and DVR of the UM/ND game waited for us at home. And the fun of a night time half party/half run was just what I needed. The run was great...
