Cinders Photo 290 Blog. The Napa Valley Grid Project. The long exposure gives a silky look and “feel” to the water. We spend so much of our time trying to capture, contain and direct water that I love to see it in it’s more wild state as it makes it way to the ocean. The rough bark and mossy lower trunks reminded me of the highly textured skin of the few real live elephants I’ve seen in my life. I imagined them as stuck in time or petrified from an ancient volcanic eruption. Maybe it Was the Elephants?
