Best Rolled Sugar Cookies and Butter Cream Frosting. Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Now that the holiday season is in full swing I wanted to share with you my favorite sugar cookie recipe. I found this recipe on the allreci. The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies. 1 1/2 Cups of butter softened. 2 Cups of white sugar. 1 tsp of vanilla extract. 5 Cups of all purpose flour. 2 tsps of baking powder. 1 tsp of salt. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. I like mine thick.
