Just another WordPress.com site. Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm. Our ride for the day. There it is… Angkor Wat! Very small steps. We were told it was rude to walk with your bum sticking out so they would walk up sideways. You can still see the carvings in the stone. These boys were either training to be monks or someone in their family died. You can see there were a lot of stones that have fallen off the structure. Sweet monkeys on the side of the road. Just another WordPress.com site. Incense hanging from the ceiling. You can see the sky deck on the financial tower. It’s are last day in Vietnam. We are spending some time with our friends here in Ho Chi Minh city! We have had a wonderful time here! It’s a beautiful city and the people are nice and it’s a lot cleaner than Thailand. It’s a very busy city, I couldn’t imagine driving here. There 3 million bikers and 14,000 taxis! We have had some of the best food here! We will be leaving soon for Cambodia!

He was going to walk down the mountains to see his family and it was going to take him 2 days! Wow, where do I even start! Brooke and I left for Lukla (the worlds most dangerous airport in the world), we were a little nervous and excited! Our flight was delayed but we got in and met our guide Bhakta! Coming back was a little tiring! Brooke’s new friends. Trying to be a porter.

We had quite the journey getting there, 3 flights, 1 ferry and 2 taxi rides. The last flight we flew fit 9 passengers, was super small, and it was the pilots first flight. We flew in to St Thomas! I didn't think I would ever really. Get the chance to go on a shark dive, much less in Hawaii, in warm, beautiful water, and to get my husband to go with me at that. But I did, and it was so much better than I could have expected! I chose North Shore Shark Adventures. Trying to keep balanced- Me on the far left.

Monday, March 14, 2011. 2 Large whole eggs. 4 Large egg yoks. 3/4 Cups of sugar (we used 1/2 cups and still felt like it was pretty sweet). Finely grated zest and juice of 2 medium lemons (about 1/4 cup juice). 1/3 cup white port, muscat, sauternes or other sweet dessert wine (I used muscat). 2-3 cups of sliced strawberries. 1 Tbsp white sugar. Cut up the strawberries and add the sugar. Mix together.

After my 220 mile hike on the John Muir Trail, I didn't think I would ever want to see a trail again, but its amazing how quickly you forget the bad (blistered feet, carrying a heavy pack, sleeping on the ground) and long for the seclusion and beauty of the great outdoors. It didn't take Jed long to convince me to get lost in the woods with him for 3 days. Links to this post.

I didn't take a picture of this meal, but don't let that stop you from trying out this recipe! Recipe by John Ash. 4 lbs beef short ribs with bones cut into 2-inch pieces. Salt and freshly ground black pepper. 5 Tbsp of olive oil. 1 Cup chopped carrots. 15 C light or medium bodied red wine (I used 2 buck chuck from Trader Joe's). 4 C homemade beef or chicken stock or broth.

CEIP BAC DE CERDANYA. 13 de juny 2008. El dilluns 29 quan vam sortir al pati : vam veure els dos circuits i ens van dir les normes de circulació. Després vam fer els dos grups: uns en la pista d’obstacles i l’altre al circuit de la ciutat. Al cap d’una estona ens vam canviar. The Toymaker has free paper toys that you can print out and make yourself - or more importantly, the kids can make themselves (very kid friendly). Just another WordPress.com site. We have done so much today I wanted to start posting pictures! Then we went to the Pashupatinath Temple where they cremate bodies. We actually got to watch this cremation take place! The family members were making quite a scene crying, it was sad to watch. We had some time back at our hotel to eat and rest then we got to see the clinic where we will be volunteering! We are working in a school and we each have a Nepali assistant! Tonight we are going to a dinner and show!
