Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Two weeks at home. Mariko has now been home with us for two weeks! I can't believe it's already been that long and that she's three weeks old! It seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital (four weeks early) and I was in labor. Wow, that makes me sound old (it seems like just yesterday.). Everyone in the NICU was amazing. Thursday, September 26, 2013. We are getting seriously close to the time in which I get to start weaning from the pump and amazingly the only thing I can think of is "why am I doing that again? And "will there be enough milk to get her to a year? When we go to Medford I will bring the pump (since this will be just after I get done with my week at 1) however I am hoping that I will be able to make it the whole trip without pumping. Friday, October 4, 2013. And so we begin weaning from the pump! I started weaning last weekend - I am down to 4x a day from 5 and it makes such a huge difference! Having to pump only twice during the day while she's awake instead of 3 times (and 4-5 hours apart instead of 3 ) makes such an amazing difference in my day. I think I might have been less resentful of this whole thing overall with 4 instead of 5. So far I'm still adding to the freezer stash and have nearly 2000 ounces! View my complete profile.

We've got a xylophone, shakers, a drum, tambourine, and jingle bells. Blocks - Mariko is getting better at stacking blocks. She can almost always do 2 and can sometimes do 3. Come along for the ride. Carnoustie and Castles Part 1. August 4, 2012. We are in Troon, it’s Saturday morning August 4th, and we are taking half a day off. I’m playing catch up with the last three days. On Wednesday Ken played golf at Carnoustie the weather was rainy off and on and the sky overcast. Ken was happy though cause he had his best round so far this trip. There were several hundred stairs down and then up into the castle! Yep those little dots coming down the mountain are people.
