Mark, Kristen, Naomi and Micah: January 2012
http://mark-kristen-naomi.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
What shall we do in Illyria? Saturday, January 7, 2012. Micah turned TWO yesterday. He is such a beautiful little boy, and has changed our family, and brings so much joy and love and silliness and laughter into our house. What do we love about Micah? Well, the superficial things: his curly hair, his dimples, his big blue eyes. I am fairly certain he is left-handed, and that is fascinating (how does that happen? And Mark helped him ride! Then we spent some time in the yard checking on things. View my comp...

http://mark-kristen-naomi.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
What shall we do in Illyria? Sunday, June 29, 2014. We have begun what I like to think of as an EPIC road trip. Three weeks driving from Texas to Colorado to California to Arizona and back home. We plan to make full use of our National Park pass, see family and friends, and have ALOT of family time in the car. And maybe take some great pictures, see some beautiful sights. First leg: Austin to Palo Duro Canyon. Palo Duro Canyon to Conifer. Conifer to Boulder. 160; Love that we can catch up as families!

Mark, Kristen, Naomi and Micah: Naomi Turned 6!
http://mark-kristen-naomi.blogspot.com/2012/08/naomi-turned-6.html
What shall we do in Illyria? Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Naomi had a lovely birthday this year - with family celebrations, and friend celebrations, and Colorado celebrations. For her actual birthday Naomi had a couple of requests. First, for her birthday present from me she wanted a "fancy dress." So, we went shopping! And found the dress seen in a bunch of these pictures. It was so fun to go with her and give her (almost) free reign on her choice. And once she knew, she knew she had found the one!

The Wheelock Family: The Wheelock Quads are Born (Part 2)
http://wheelockquads.blogspot.com/2010/04/wheelock-quads-are-born-part-2.html
Saturday, April 24, 2010. The Wheelock Quads are Born (Part 2). Much of the following was a blur because of our exhaustion, delerium, and (for Crissie) pain medications. But first, I need to back up a little bit. I still don't know how long we stood there in silence watching everyone work. I do know that I felt my heart was literally being ripped in two- so much so that I thought was having a heart attack. Crissie sat and cried while I stood. We were completely devastated. We continued to wait for a mira...

The Wheelock Family: NICU Update (D-Day + 17)
http://wheelockquads.blogspot.com/2010/05/nicu-update-d-day-17.html
Tuesday, May 4, 2010. NICU Update (D-Day 17). By the time I put the period on this sentence, what I think I know about the condition about our daughters will be old news. Seriously, it changes that fast. Are open. Then they're closed. Then one's open again. Got that fixed. The other one's open. Now it's closed. Check that. Yep, they're both feeding. No they're not. One of them is. Not anymore. One's not pooping. Now she's pooping. Starting feeds. Stopping feeds. Why? PDAs open. Crap! The sea turtle joke ...
