Thursday, October 31, 2013. Usually I like to make the kids costumes but this year I feel sad to admit I bought them. Too busy and they would have taken too much time/money to make. Luckily the kids don't really care! We had dinner with friends and then went trick or treating in their neighborhood. It was kind of crazy with 9 kids but it was really fun! She is such a goof! This was in the middle of a culdesac, and all she seemed to want to do was lay down in everyones driveway. Posted by A little Birdie.

Monday, October 14, 2013. For Cory's birthday this year I wanted to surprise him with something BIG but had a hard time coming up with anything. I found out that his FAVORITE band, Jimmy Eat World, was coming to OKC the week before his birthday. It was fate! I quickly arranged everything and it all pulled together pretty well (minus the whole government shut down that threw a little glitch in our plans so I wasn't able to keep it a total surprise). Saturday, November 2, 2013. Happy 6th birthday Isaac! Isaac had a birthday shout hooray! We had a really low-key family party on the actual day of his birthday, then had a birthday party today with a few friends. He's lucky to have some pretty great ones! I'll be honest, at the time I kind of thought it was a pipe dream. But thanks to my wonderful, amazing, talented, beautiful trainers. IT HAPPENED! And we still have THREE weeks left of school! I am so proud of myself. I am slowly becoming the person I want to be! The rest of the semester has been great! I can do hard things.
