I haven't been doing a lot of cooking as this heat is unbearable but did manage to make this and I can tell you in all honesty that it is very good and especially hits the spot on a hot summer night! 2 pints strawberries, hulled and cubed. 1/3 cup granulated sugar. 2 cups of powdered sugar. 21 oz can strawberry pie filling. 1 tbs vanilla extract. 1 Angel Food or Vanilla pound cake(cubed). 2- 8 oz. cream cheese. 4 cups heavy cream.

Sunday, June 2, 2013. This is a new recipe I found and since it is made in the crockpot, I was hoping it would be another favorite, and it was very good! So easy to prepare. I love this type of recipe! 1 bag frozen tortellini (I used cheese tortellini). 1 small bag fresh spinach. 2 cans Italian style diced tomatoes. 1 box or 4 cups of vegetable broth. 1- 8oz. cream cheese, cut in chunks. It had a kick to it! 2 14oz. cans cream style corn. 1 cup peeled and diced potatoes. 1 cup peeled and diced carrots. 2 14 oz. cans vegetable or chicken broth. 1/2 cup chopped onion. 1 tsp celery seed. 1/2 tsp. black pepper. 16 oz jar processed cheese spread. Combine all ingredients except cheese in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 hours. Stir in the cheese and cook on high for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted. Slowcooker Southwest Chicken Soup.
