A Motley Vision: Publishing: Choice in LDS Books
http://motleyvision.blogspot.com/2006/06/publishing-choice-in-lds-books.html
AMV is now at www.motleyvision.org. Publishing: Choice in LDS Books. Those who have read my previous posts (yes, those from last Fall, when I last gave myself enough time to write here) know that I think the market for LDS books is crippled. It is only able to supply a relatively narrow range of books to a relatively narrow audience, and as a result either ignores or turns-off a large portion, perhaps even the majority, of those who might purchase LDS books. That the store has decided not to carry? Many ...

http://ncallen.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

I knew I was going to be wowed by H.B. Moore's Finding Sheba. And I was not disappointed. This is the description from Amazon:. Now There are layers within layers in this complex but readable bo...

http://motleyvision.blogspot.com/2006/05/mormon-lit-believing-people.html
AMV is now at www.motleyvision.org. Mormon Lit: A Believing People. Which inspired my self-guided tour in the first place). Ed Geary’s essay Goodbye to Poplarhaven. Eliza R. Snow’s Hymns. Donald Marshall’s story The Week-end. Even so this is me aspiring to objectivity ABP’s earlier selections (say prior to the 1930s) generally depend too much...
