Crafts, Letters 'n' Such. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Awesome mail and a day at the zoo! It's been another rough week. My father was hospitalized on Wednesday but will be going home tomorrow. He needed another blood transfusion due to severe anemia which is caused by the cancer. What a horrible disease! I don't know what else to say except it's rough and sad. Let's move on to the awesome mail I received this week, no letters just swaps. Summer" swap. Such pretty items once again I will put to great use.

Rocky Mountain National Park. I live in Colorado near the Pike National Forest. The wildlife makes it a great place to take photos. The deer are constant visitors and they like to watch me as much as I enjoy watching them. I put out seeds for the birds and sit with my camera as they show up to eat. Flower photography is a challenge. The growing season is short and the deer and the rabbits like to munch. When I see a flower I run for my camera because it may not be there for long.
