Teaching, Crafting and Growing in Christ! Monday, May 11, 2015. Bittersweet time of year. It's been a while since I've written a new post. It is definitely a busy time of year for me. There are only 3 weeks left of school, which is so crazy to me! But with those 3 weeks comes many events. The other half of my class will be staying with me for next year! The big sweet thing about this time of year is SUMMER! I'm super excited to be going home next month! I'm so looking forward to some time with my family!

Teaching, Crafting and Growing in Christ! Friday, December 19, 2014. Christmas Traditions in the Classroom. This has become a Christmas tradition in my classroom. I love to see how it turns out every year. My kiddos did a fantastic job coloring each section this year! I bought this Andy Warhol. Inspired Christmas Tree mural several years ago. Teaching, Crafting and Growing in Christ! Sunday, July 26, 2015. Just got back from my church camping trip. Last year when I moved to Wisconsin the church camping trip came at just the right time. I know that the Lord had it all worked out in advance. It was later in the summer last year and I was struggling some missing my family and adjusting to living with my grandparents. God used that camping trip to remind me that He is always with me and hears me when I cry out to Him. Holy and awesome is his name!

I've sung these words for my entire life and never realized what a great picture it gives! I've been learning how to play the guitar. With playing the guitar comes tuning it. If I don't tune the strings the sound that the guitar makes is not a pretty one. When you turn the knob to tune the strings of a guitar it cranks them tighter so they make the right note. Teaching, Crafting and Growing in Christ! Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Reading Challenge Update #5. 10 Eragon - I really enjoyed reading this book! A few months ago I found this wooden piece at the local goodwill. It had Santa painted on it. I went into the goodwill that day looking for potential project pieces. I'm so glad I bought it! It turned out so cute! The sides of the rim are navy. Now the question is do I keep it or try to sell it on my Etsy shop that I'm opening? It looks pretty good on my wall!

Teaching, Crafting and Growing in Christ! Thursday, September 25, 2014. The car, the "late" night, and the hearing aids. That post title sounds like it would make a funny children's book! Tuesday was the hardest. I was pretty steamed after our conversation, but I kept my cool and firmly but calmly stood up for myself. So thankful for my Dad and sister who talked me through it afterwards. They helped me focus on the truth and to calm down a little. And my grandma too even if she exasperates me at times.
