Up on the Hill. October 31, 2008. A Very Happy Halloween. Jillian had a full. Day of Halloween fun! First, we stopped to trick-or-treat at Grandma Mary's house. Of course, Tinkerbell had to fly around the fish pond and visit the fishies. Next, we headed over to Auntie Whitney's office to trick-or-treat. Up on the Hill. September 25, 2009. This week Jillian's class went to visit Knaus Apple Ranch. They started out playing Ring Around the Apple Tree with Miss Stevi's parachute and then moved over to the table for a demonstration. The kids were able to go into the orchard with a bag and pick some apples, too. They were instructed to twist instead of pull. Jillian took this very seriously! The bag of apples was weighed and then purchased. We finished the field trip with a picnic on the grass with friends.

And Jillian and I were invited to join our friends Regina and Alexandria (or Aluzdrayuh if you listen to Jillian's pronunciation). We visited Four Seasons Alpaca Ranch. Where we were greeted by the lovely family who runs the ranch. Their son, Parker, was our tour guide around the ranch. Not only was he very knowledgable, but he was as cute as a bug's ear, too.
