A Day in the Life of the Crump Family. Saturday, August 22, 2009. Around and around again! For Grant's 2nd birthday we got him his very first tricycle. Ever sine then we have been practicing riding, although he never really got the hang of it until now. We think what helped was that we took the tricycle to Grammy and Papaw's house and they have a sloped drive-way that made the pedaling easier for Grant. Thursday, December 10, 2009. Brooke's 1st Trip to the ER. To keep things exciting on Halloween, Brooke decided she wanted to visit the ER. After trick-or-treating, she pulled my Kitchen Aide blender (type noted because they are HEAVY! We had to keep her shoes on for 4 weeks. It is still healing as it is still a shade of purple/pink, but she is able to walk much better now. The doctor said that she may not get the flexibility back in the toe, but it looks like it is starting to come back.
