The Black Family: Happy 8th Jackson!
http://runwiththeblacks.blogspot.com/2010/04/happy-8th-jackson.html
Sunday, April 11, 2010. Jackson turned 8 a couple of weeks ago and things have been so busy I haven't had a chance to write about it yet. He has been especially excited for this birthday because he was looking forward to being baptized and becoming a cub scout. Here are eight greats about Jackson. 1 He's so responsible (guess it just comes with being the oldest). 2 He loves sports and anything that gets him moving. 3 He's a polite, well-mannered boy (his teacher even says so). But the rest of the kids walked right up, told him what they were wishing for, and posed for the picture.

Yes, these are all mine!: December 2009

Yes, these are all mine! Saturday, December 12, 2009. As soon as Kobe discovered that he could squash the cake, he absolutely destroyed it. After he smeared it all over his high chair, the table next to him, and anyone that came close to him, his sibblings got him to play pat-a-cake! Mmmmm, that's good. Ohhhh, that's really good! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Dale and I have been married for 10 years now, and have six very wonderful, beautiful, amazing children. (I am just a little biased).

The Black Family: March 2010
http://runwiththeblacks.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 19, 2010. Happy Birthday to My 6 Year Old! Our little Collin turned 6 last Saturday. Six? I remember the day he was born so vividly like it was yesterday. He was my easiest pregnancy and labor and was a pretty easy baby. He's still easy-going. Here are the top 6 things I love about him. 1 He makes us laugh, all the time. He's a pretty witty guy. 2 He's not afraid to dance, sing, and act just plain silly (only in front of us, of course). 6 He's just so darn cute! We love you so much.

A STAR is born.: November 2010
http://stefstaresquire.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
A STAR is born. Thursday, November 11, 2010. It's a special day! I hope you made lots of wishes. I did. A STAR is born. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. No, this isn’t a post about some funny thing that happened to me because of a surprise time change. This is about theft. Specifically, the theft of one hour of my day. To not sleeping, not the actual not sleeping), I think I figured this beach thing would too. But…alas, I remain besotted with sun. Besotted with sun. That’s a lovely phrase. Anyway, my relati...

A STAR is born. Thursday, September 13, 2012. Oh hey. Hey there. Did you think I died? Not dead, no worries. And BAM! I have 3 potential essays I've thought about submitting (below) and I need your help choosing one:. 1) "Almost a Philanthropist" - This will be familiar to anyone who's read my blog. I've made only slight additions for the purposes of this contest. Now, be a dear and read my dribble and comment back (today! My ears perked up when a trip to Mexico was mentioned. It seemed like it would...

A STAR is born. Monday, June 13, 2011. If I were a rich man, yubby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dum. Late-night blog rant that I'll probably regret in the morning.ready.go:. She was focused. She was working. She was very unlike a 6-year-old in her tenacity. I left that lesson rejoicing, considering a musical connection made and a testimony born of hard work and dedication. Frightening, isn't it? Then comes the inevitable onslaught of questions: Am I an idiot for thinking she could play that? Today...

The Black Family: July 2009
http://runwiththeblacks.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 19, 2009. What a great way to spend a scorching hot day! And believe me, the sun was beating down, especially on my back while I was trying to get just a "little" bit of color. I'm paying the price now. Well, the truth is, yes the water looked cloudy and a little disgusting, but it was warm and just the right depth for her to play in close to us. Posted by Kurt and Tami. Posted by Kurt and Tami. But she surprised us and walked, quite quickly I might add, beaming with a grin from ear to ear, ...
