Rattling On...

About this, that and the other. November 18, 2013. Move it, move it. On the 1st of July I loaded a GPS running app onto my iPod and started what I hoped would be a new regime of regular exercise. At the beginning of the long summer holiday a friend asked if I wanted to try and lose a bit of excess baggage in an act of solidarity with her. I said no. Then got home and changed my mind. Why not? I went back out and bought a set of scales, the first Ive ever really owned. Posted at 06:00 AM. November 17, 2013.

Thisel and Bean: Fabric Tape
http://thiselandbean.blogspot.com/2011/03/fabric-tape.html
Tuesday, 22 March 2011. Today my eyes fell on some left over double sided tape, and a stash of fabrics I had up on the side. I recalled a cute tutorial I saw on Between the Lines. About making fabric tape, or 'DIY Japanese Masking Tape' as it was described. Either way it looked pretty simple so I had a go at making a few rolls. I made a flowery one. And a colourful patterned one. As it turns out it IS. Simple to make and a pretty addition to any wrapping! 23 March 2011 at 21:39. This is so cool! A Little...

Naturally Us: TREASURES UNVEILED
http://j9turner.blogspot.com/2012/06/treasures-unveiled.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Years ago I set out to design a lead light window. I decided on a Japanese Lady underneath cherry blossom. Then about 9 years ago I started cutting out glass for it. Tho upon finding out I was pregnant a very good friend offered to lead it up for me. Since then it has been packed up between wood. And now that we are packing everything up again. It needed a new house to keep it safe and secure. Standing about 6ft tall,. I have falledn in love with it all over again!

Naturally Us: A LITTLE BIT SCARY & A LITTLE BIT EXCITING....
http://j9turner.blogspot.com/2012/06/little-bit-exciting-and-little-bit.html
Saturday, June 16, 2012. A LITTLE BIT SCARY and A LITTLE BIT EXCITING. The other night the power went out. But thankfully half our dinner was cooked (the part in the oven). So we got out the camping cooker to cook the other half. And this is when the excitement started. Due to the darkness we didn't see that the fire lighter was still in the cooker. So after 10 mins or so we got quite a bigger flame than we were expecting. Luckily no harm done and. After opening doors and windows to get rid of the fumes.

Naturally Us: Another chapter and a new road to follow on this journey of ours.......
http://j9turner.blogspot.com/2015/06/another-chapter-and-new-road-to-follow.html
Friday, June 5, 2015. Another chapter and a new road to follow on this journey of ours. Its been a long long time (more than a couple of years actually) and a lot has happened in that time and all the photo's are really out of date now. We bought some land at Marysville about 6 months ago and started looking into what type of house we wanted to build - would we go down the conventional road, a transportable home, maybe a kit home OR what about a Shipping Container Home. This will impact the type of found...

Saturday, October 13, 2012. Its been a long time since my last post and a lot has happened. Not a lot of what I want to share here but needless to say. The past year has been a difficult and painful one for us. And I don't think I will ever understand it all completely. More more recently it has been a time for. Healing, nurturing and change for our little family. Allowing myself to trust again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lucky to Have You. Beaver Lodge Tournament 2011. The Year I Aged Ten Years.
