Notes from the Trail. April 7, 2016. Be very alert to Avalanche dangers no matter where you ride! April 1, 2016. Quick update on the conditions as I know them. It snowed/rained Sunday and Monday which resulted in about 12 of slush by Tuesday morning. Tuesday was pretty nice with no precipitation but then Wednesday it rained at the lower elevations all day long. Thursday was a nice day with partly sunny skies and temps in the high 40s.
