Saturday, May 23, 2015. Memorial Day Weekend Ride. Still just a handful of riders. It was cold and windy. This morning as three Cyclopaths headed out of Salem to meet Ducky. On the bridge. Who were they? Well, the usual suspects, of course - Joan. With strong winds and chilly temps, the fourseome headed to The Depot Diner. Mistakenly believing that the 7:30 start. Would mean a less crowded diner. It was a 24 minute wait, according to the fancy new reservation system the Depot Diner. Click Here for More!

http://cyclomessages.blogspot.com/2011/08/lauries-spicy-szechuan-noodles.html
Laurie's Spicy Szechuan Noodles. The Szechuan noodle of my past, recreated as delicious as remembered- seductively smooth, exhilarating fiery, and with just the right crunch and bite. Because of its intensity it works best served by itself rather than as part of an assortment of dishes for a Chinese dinner, but it is also fun to bring as a potluck dish. - Laurie. 3/4- 1 cup unsweetened chunky peanut butter*. 8 Tablespoons soy sauce or tamari. 6 Tablespoons dark sesame oil. 4 Tablespoons red wine vinegar.
