Tina's 3D Modelling Blog: October 2008
http://tam3dmodellingandanimation.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tina's 3D Modelling Blog. Sunday, 26 October 2008. Starting my Project- April. The next stage was to add a head to the dragon. I used a sphere for this, although I was not happy to leave it like this. Due to this I then edited it to make it flatter and rotated it before putting it in place. Once I completed one leg I duplicated it and re-arranged the sections on the other side of the body. I now need to continue with this by adding the dragon's wings, a face and by creating the figure of St George. I am ...

Tina's 3D Modelling Blog: January 2009
http://tam3dmodellingandanimation.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tina's 3D Modelling Blog. Thursday, 29 January 2009. Week 1- My First 3D Animation. Today is the first time I have attempted to create an animation in 3Ds Max, and with this in mind feel I have managed to complete the tasks quite well. To begin with I just added key frames along the timeline and adjusted the position of the content at these points. At first I did occasionally forget to click on the key button, but after some practice I started to remember this each time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Jeremy's 3D Mod Blog. Blog for my 3D Modelling and Animation module. This should be updated at least once a week! Feel free to comment on my work and let me know what you think! Thursday, 7 May 2009. My first ident for the discovery channel is looking at DNA. The scene starts with a single strand of DNA turning, moves onto vertical strands of DNA and finally ending with travelling through a strand of DNA. The three rendered scenes were imported into Adobe Premiere Pro and linked together with a cross dis...

Tina's 3D Modelling Blog: Week 10-Adapting ident 2 part 3
http://tam3dmodellingandanimation.blogspot.com/2009/04/week-10-adapting-ident-2-part-3.html
Tina's 3D Modelling Blog. Saturday, 25 April 2009. Week 10-Adapting ident 2 part 3. Currently I felt ident 2 part 3 worked reasonably well, however the walk sequence was too fast. So to start I rescaled the timeline from 90 frames length to 105 to prevent this. Next I went on to create the tug of the string as this would add realism to the balloon making the character float as it suggested the bear had a mass. To do this I cloned a copy of the balloon string and edited it using the soft selection tool.

Jeremy's 3D Mod Blog. Blog for my 3D Modelling and Animation module. This should be updated at least once a week! Feel free to comment on my work and let me know what you think! Wednesday, 10 December 2008. Overall, I am quite pleased with what I have come up with during this semester, looking at 3D Studio Max. However, I did come across a few problems I hope to sort out before next semester. Targets for Next Semester. I then created 4 small spheres of different sizes to use as the eyes and the buttons o...

Wednesday, 10 December 2008. For my December Image I chose to focus on a snow scene and a snowman. I felt this image went quite well and I am pleased with the finished result. I could have maybe added some more elements to this image. Here is how I created this image. I created two sticks for the arms in the same way I did the No...

Tina's 3D Modelling Blog: Easter-Changes to ident 3 part 6
http://tam3dmodellingandanimation.blogspot.com/2009/04/easter-changes-to-ident-3-part-6.html
Tina's 3D Modelling Blog. Friday, 17 April 2009. Easter-Changes to ident 3 part 6. I am reasonably pleased with this part so far but feel it could be improved slightly. Therefore I am going to make some alterations, firstly to the stardust. Also, I made the stardust shoot towards the camera. To do this I changed the particle formation values of off axis to 10 with a spread of 10 and the off plane value to 0 with a spread of 180. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tina's 3D Modelling Blog: December 2008
http://tam3dmodellingandanimation.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tina's 3D Modelling Blog. Tuesday, 9 December 2008. Week 11- Finishing touches to my image of October. Next I changed the material I used for the trunk of the tree as I felt the current one was too dominant in the scene due to the shade of brown. I found an image of bark on the internet which was a more suitable and applied it as a diffuse and bump map to get the uneven texture. I tried to base the theme of this image on the colours of red and orange and the feeling of warmth as these are the first thing...
