More than you ever wanted to know. Friday, October 24, 2008. Weekend Visit to Spokane and Sandpoint. Friday evening we had a delightful dinner and visit with Doug, Debbie, Connor, Nathan and Debbie's cousin Brenda. It was so fun to catch up with them again - it had been far too long since we spent any time together. Sunday we had lunch at Stan's new place in Couer d'Alene - he has it fixed up really nice even though he's only been there for 3 weeks and let me tell you the steak he fixed was FABULOUS!

More than you ever wanted to know. Tuesday, May 20, 2008. What, a little old flapper valve malfunction can cause a mess? Oh yes it can, if you have a septic tank that eventually couldn't keep up with the flow. Once the tank filled, the water then had nowhere to go but down into the basement (yes it WAS a finished space). It was literally raining from the ceiling when I went downstairs to inspect the damage! So - that's what has been keeping us a "little" busy around here for the last couple of weeks.

You can see the water stain about 2/3 up the main door. That is where the water was after Hurricane Katrina. So crazy! A turtle sunning itself. Saturday, September 20, 2014. The majority of us took off for a weekend trip to Florence, it was really great to get out with the group and have a little fun. Some of them continued on to Venice, but we thought one big day in Florence was enough. It is hard work being a tourist. The statue of David (above). The White Family

Wednesday, July 9, 2008. We had a great time in Utah and it was fun to see family there! We had an interesting drive home. The transmission on our van started acting up outside of Wendover and we had to keep stopping to cool down the engine. By the time we reached Donner, the transmission was shot and Darin had to keep it in neutral almost the whole way to Auburn. Then he babied it the rest of the way home.
