The size and beauty are truly amazing. The 2 of us on the boat. The seals hanging out on, where else? There were several beautiful waterfalls surrounding us, but since it hadn't rained in almost 2 weeks, we missed out on many more.after a good rain, more than 2000 can be found flowing into Milford Sound.

We started our tour of the region at Waimungu, home of New Zealand's most recent volcano eruption. Frying Pan Lake, above, boasts average temps around a balmy 60 degress Celsius ( over 160 Fahrenheit).a little hotter than the pools at the Polynesian Spa yesterday.
