Two kids trying to make it in a world of grown-ups. Monday, November 22, 2010. For fear of being publicly mocked, we've held out on posting pictures of our fully decorated house. We've had the tree up since November 13th. Hey, if we're going to be on Ohio at Christmas, we should have everything up to enjoy that much earlier, right? June left her Christmas spirit up north. We unpacked our trusty plastic snowman Thomas- the first joint Christmas decoration Brandon and I purchased in college. June f...Aunt ...

Two kids trying to make it in a world of grown-ups. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. For the first time in a long time, we've gone through fall without visiting a Renaissance festival. And let me tell you- it just doesn't feel right. But we did find something to make us feel better- a train show! We headed down to Hotlanta for the Great Train Expo. I loved this train set I could control myself and waited so patiently to take a turn on the controls for all four tracks. Even Junie gave it a try. This was mama's...

Two kids trying to make it in a world of grown-ups. Friday, November 5, 2010. Fall has finally come! We're all relishing in the cooler weather- still in the low 70s though- and headed outside to tend to our much neglected yard. We've got a ton left over! We found there are two things Georgie wants more than anything- to be warm and to be outside under a tree. She laid beside mama for a couple hours while mama gardened and even took a little nap. What a great way to spend a fall afternoon! Henry Turner- V...

Two kids trying to make it in a world of grown-ups. Thursday, November 4, 2010. We've been putting off the Halloween post because Halloween came and went and mama realized that she never took a picture of all three of us in our costumes. On Friday, the moms' club had a big Halloween party. There were games and plenty of treats! June especially liked the cookie decorating station. She made two. Little lamb Georgie slept in her stroller during all the fun. And here's the group shot mama took tonight. J...

Two kids trying to make it in a world of grown-ups. Sunday, November 28, 2010. Big twubble, Henwy! We've been neglecting the blog in preparation for Thanksgiving week. Mama put Henry to work making pumpkin bread (and yes, those are chocolate chips). I helped out by preparing some meals. To make sure we all stay in tip top shape, I gave Georgie a check-up. First, I listened to her heart. Then I checked her blood pressure. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Henry Turner- Version 1.0.

The dead mums and the Camry are a nice addition, mama. Two out of three. This one isn't so bad. Somebody loves his sisters. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Two kids trying to make it in a world of grown-ups. Saturday, November 6, 2010. I want a blue dress- June. Every morning when I get up, the first thing I tell mama is "I want to wear a blue dress." I'm not very good with colors, so I don't always mean blue. I colored this scarecrow at school. I even glued some "straw" down. Enroll him in some kind of sport. And what about that baby? She is so stinking cute! She really just keeps getting better and better. This week she's been working on talking more.

Two kids trying to make it in a world of grown-ups. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Looks like someone is closer to rolling over than we realized. Mama walked in and found Georgie trying to look out the window. Good thing she's starting to move around. That neck fold is looking pretty ripe. Henry took his etch a sketch to bed and worked on this for four nights. It's a map of a city with a lot of parking spots. And in the upper left quadrant, you can see the baseball field. It's been very warm here, so yest...

Two kids trying to make it in a world of grown-ups. Monday, November 1, 2010. A picture hiatus- Henry. When we got back from Bridge Day, mama was so overwhelmed by all the pictures we had taken (and all that had to get uploaded to the blog), that she declared a picture hiatus. And she meant it. For the first week after we got home, I think she only took 2 pictures of George. Mama felt guilty about not taking any pictures, so she snapped a few this week. I sure love my little sister. Her teachers sent hom...

The dead mums and the Camry are a nice addition, mama. Two out of three. This one isn't so bad. Somebody loves his sisters. Mama's new goal is to get a picture of all three of us.
