First State Brewers' Blog: More belgian fury...
http://firststatebrewers.blogspot.com/2007/01/more-belgian-fury.html
First State Brewers' Blog. This is the blog of the First State Brewers, homebrewing club. Monday, January 29, 2007. As my post over on the Google group. Indicated, I brewed more belgian style beer on Sunday morning. 10 gallons of what was supposed to be a somewhat mild brew that could support 3 or 4 in an evening without dropping the hammer. and it didn't turn out that way. Instead I'm probably looking at a 7-8% beer. It weighs a freakin' ton, especially full! Posted by GDSever @ 4:58 PM.

Bentwood Brewing: Brewday
http://bentwoodbrewing.blogspot.com/2006/02/brewday.html
Online journal of my homebrewing fun. So today I am brewing a pale ale. On a whim, I decided to completely convert to metric measurements. We'll see how it goes. At the moment I am about 63 minutes into my boil. Looks like I should be done and cleaned up by 6-ish. I will post the results of the brew later. Dover, Delaware, United States. Bentwood Brewing: Play money all dried up.
http://bentwoodbrewing.blogspot.com/2006/03/play-money-all-dried-up.html
Online journal of my homebrewing fun. Play money all dried up. Well it looks like my brewing stuff may be on hold a little while. The source of a lot of my brewing income is from refereeing. Last Saturday I messed up a muscle in my foot and have a possible stress fracture. It's not a big deal, I should be back in 4-6 weeks and then my brewing can start again. Bentwood Brewing
http://bentwoodbrewing.blogspot.com/2006/03/well-not-much-has-gone-on-this-week.html
Online journal of my homebrewing fun. Well not much has gone on this week. As I post this my Pale Ale is still bubbling away. And that got me wondering. I did use a refractometer and not my hydro to test my samples. Perhaps it was user error. I dunno, we'll see what it like when I transfer it over to the keg Sunday. I am also planning on going to How Do You Brew. On Saturday. Garrett. Well time to get to Calculus. Dover, Delaware, United States. View my complete profile. Beer, Beer and More Beer.

Bentwood Brewing: Twin Lakes Brewing..
http://bentwoodbrewing.blogspot.com/2006/02/twin-lakes-brewing.html
Online journal of my homebrewing fun. So, it has been a while since my last post. And since then, a lot has happened. To take a look. Afterwards, I went to Garrett's house and met his family and toured his little brewery. His wife is very nice and his kids are adorable. And I am sure Shell would like their cats. ICK! Also, I was able to acquire a 14 gallon brew kettle. This more than anything will elevate me to 10 gallon batches. I just need to get another Carboy or three and some kegs first. Nice tun ma...

Bentwood Brewing: The World Cup..
http://bentwoodbrewing.blogspot.com/2006/06/world-cup.html
Online journal of my homebrewing fun. Well not much news for brewing. Yesterday I put my Amarillo Ale to secondary. (Damn tasty) and have a wit on deck. That should be brewed next week. And now for something different. The World Cup begins in about 10 minutes. 30 days of heartache or bliss dependent upon who you support. For me it is England. Hopefully we can have a great run and lift the cup in the end. COME ON ENGLAND! Show me the amarillo recipe! Dover, Delaware, United States. View my complete profile.

Bentwood Brewing: Insanity....
http://bentwoodbrewing.blogspot.com/2006/01/insanity.html
Online journal of my homebrewing fun. Holy cow. Never use ebay while drunk, I guess. This pot retails for $215 I think. Looks like this weekend I will be making a Scotch Ale. We'll see. Does that mean you paid above retail for an used item? If I do my math. Even with the Brewmometer and the 3-piece valve, it shouldn't have been over $300. Nice gear though. You're gonna need a bigger immersion chiller. Hey if you end up coming to the First State Brewers field trip of Twin Lakes Brewery.
