When we headed home after the 4th of July weekend. We enjoy checking out state parks and looking for new places to camp. This stop was at Westmoreland State Park. We've stopped here before. The dogs enjoyed the short hike,. Though it was pretty hot out. Bailey (on the right) is definitely trying to figure out.

Tuesday, May 20, 2014. This is Bailey my 6 year old chocolate Lab. This is Jake my 7 month-ish rescue. It was Jake's first time in the water. He seemed to take to it pretty quick. But after a few times of chasing the stick,. He shook off and was reluctant to get back in. While he's got some Labrador Retriever in him,. He doesn't have the Lab insulated coat. And the water was just too darn cold. So he stayed on the beach and waited for Bailey to do the heavy lifting. Then they all had a 3-way tug of war.

Wednesday, July 23, 2014. After the ceremony there were pictures. We actually suggested that one of the photographers. Cluck like a chicken to get Baby X to laugh. He did- awesome shot. My mom was two-fisting it. Not really, she was just holding my brother and sister's beer.). It's how we roll. The Brat Child photobombing in the background. We actually hiked up to the falls. Hiking in a wedding dress is no easy feat. I got several interesting stares. But mostly people congratulated us. My dad and I danced.

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Here are some of the things we found during our fossil hunt. At Flag Ponds Nature Park. We found some brain coral. Yes, they have teeth. And of course some shark teeth. 22 shark teeth to be exact. This was the best find. It's from a Snaggletooth Shark. It 's a shark that is extinct,. Though there are similar Snaggletooth sharks living. In the Indo-West Pacfic. Some of our teeth were from Hammerheads. I'm anxious to see what all I can find this weekend at Shark Tooth Island.

Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. The honeymoon is over. And now hopefully things will settle down enough. So that I can get organized and back to normal. Or as close to normal as I can get. We spent a glorious 7 days cruising the Caribbean on the Carnival Pride. It was relaxing, fun and adventurous.
