Monday the 9th of December we left quite late, as my better half had to see a doc (I was a bit generous with the bronchitus I had the previous week), and only went as far as Joubertina. On our way to Lesotho we’ve been waylaid by a very seductive mistress – peace and quiet! Arrived at Karnmelkspruit around 2pm, quickly pitched the tent, had a well earned beer, and fell into the swiming hole in the river, 20m from our tent…. Met some interesting people, had nice conversations, all while we’re drifting quietly in the river. What bliss! We’ll rather relax. I can get used to this!
