Photography by Phil Mann. The best quality printing out there as far as I am concerned - and lovely people too. Quality picture framing in Cheshire - where I get all my framing done! One of two British photographers who have been hugely influential in my development. A photographic guru who has both encouraged and influenced me. Not nearly as accidental as he would have you believe.

A little life in a big country. One on One classes. Tag Archives: star photography. Look at all those friggin stars. Taking off where I left yesterday: the evening skies above Las Cruces. For a while now I have been eyeballing Wayne Suggs. It has to be completely dark for night photography because the human eye needs at least 20 minutes to adapt to dark. Every light spark takes you back to zero and you have to start counting again…. Get a STURDY tripod – Thank you Derry Brabbs. At least with my camera.

Low light SLR photography and my trusty tripod - Olivia Brabbs Photography
http://www.oliviabrabbsblog.co.uk/low-light-slr-photography-and-my-trusty-tripod
Low light SLR photography and my trusty tripod. Low light SLR photography and my trusty tripod. Posted by Olivia Brabbs. On May 19, 2015 in Photography techniques. My respect for the tripod comes largely from influences from my father Derry Brabbs. His landscape and heritage work is all shot using a tripod and he is the master of composition – if it’s not perfect in frame then he won’t take the image. This is still the case even after his transition from transparency film to digital. August 16, 2016.
