My Tummy Tuck Diary. December 8, 2009. Last night’s sleep was not wonderful, but I managed to sleep on my side for a little while. I’m a stomach sleeper, so this is extremely annoying. I may invest in some Tylenol PM if I can’t sleep through the night soon. I have no clue. My doctor tells me nothing. I’m gonna have to adopt or get a surrogate. I’m also thinking I’m gonna hate my thighs more and more as time goes on.

My Tummy Tuck Diary. I had a pretty good visit to the PS yesterday. She took out the remainder of my stitches. For the most part it didn’t hurt but the last ones she took out of the incision hurt like hell. Today I went back again and she showed me how to put on surgical tape to keep the incision “together” so it heals nicely. I went and had the girdles made smaller again and now I can’t breathe. Ahh. I’m over this. Ready for results! I did get a guilt trip for lollygagging without the girdle on though&#...

My Tummy Tuck Diary. December 11, 2009. Today I feel more mobility. I have only taken two 400mg ibuprofens for pain all day. The main thing that hurts right now is the skin where the doctor stitched in the right drain again. One bit of good news is that I did not give in to my cigarette craving yesterday. I really need to flush the last couple I have down the toilet, but it’s like I’m saving them in case something REALLY bad happens. I really hope it doesn’t.

My Tummy Tuck Diary. December 19, 2009. I just got out of my first normal shower and I feel awesome. I have not taken a normal shower in 17 days! I did get a guilt trip for lollygagging without the girdle on though. I don’t feel much pain today. Yesterday the pain was kind of annoying though. It felt like one particular stitch would hurt when I would bend certain ways or try to bend over.

My Tummy Tuck Diary. December 15, 2009. Pretty exciting day today. The right drain cooperated and drained less than 10 mL each day during the past 48 hours. So I went to the doctor today and she removed it. She still pressed on my stomach and lots of blood gushed out of the hole. Right now I fear seromas.
