Scrapbooking Pages
http://scrapbookingpages1.blogspot.com/2010/04/over-next-week-i-will-be-working-on.html
Thursday, April 15, 2010. Over the next week I will be working on turning my 2009 blog into a 12x12 book through a company called blurb. So far, I completed 64 pages and I have approximately 150 more to go. This will be the test to see how good it comes out because I want to turn my Family Heritage Cook Book into a book. I chose blurb because they were the only company that offered the 12 x 12 size and allowing me to incorporate my own personal touches. Inspired by our Family American Style.

Tuesday, January 19, 2010. For the BIG reveal! The Scrapbooking/craft/guest room is complete. Since the room is a multipurpose room I needed it to be very organized and spacious. For the guest bedroom portion we decided to get a Murphy bed and since I needed it to store all my crafts I ordered one with shelving, lots of shelving. We got the Murphy bed in on Friday and it took them six hours to put it in. The shelving folds back so the bed could be pulled down. I needed a table to work on and I had a drop...

My cottage in the sky: Coming back to life, fresh and pretty
http://furnituretransformations1.blogspot.com/2009/06/coming-back-to-life-fresh-and-pretty.html
My cottage in the sky. Antiques and collectables: I enjoy finding furniture that is no longer wanted, needed or damaged. I will then transform it, re-finish it and turn it into something someone will love. Coming back to life, fresh and pretty. This was a dark wood stained drop leaf coffee table. It looked dirty and tired. I sanded, primed and painted with Heirloom white by Rust – Oleum. I painted the center roses with one stroke painting technique. Inspired by our Family American Style.
