But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. - 1 Peter 2:9. Tuesday, March 9, 2010. What Have You Learned? Jesus loves me all the time.". I learned to speak English and that we should be kind to one another.". Before if bad things happened to me I'd say "Why me? Or "I'm so unlucky". Now, if I have problems I know God will help me through them". So I answered "both!

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9. 25 March, 2010. Everything I Know, I Learned in Kindergarten. I think this might be one of the first posts in months I am not way behind on writing! I met Joe the handyman extraordinaire. Partly because they think he's cute, but they know he has a girlfriend and they helped anyway). P Gorb. Was constantly sending me food and drinks because she wa...

Monday, September 29, 2008. Missionaries Around the World. I wanted to point out the new side bar on my page. It can get pretty boring for all of you to read about me all the time, really my stories aren't that interesting. So I added links to some of my missionary friends serving here in Taiwan and around the world. I hope you enjoy! Posted by Rebekah House. Monday, September 29, 2008. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Time in Taiwan: October 2008

Tuesday, October 21, 2008. In the movie, Blood Diamond, Leo frequently says "TIA- This is Africa." Among the missionaries of Taiwan, we frequently say "TIT- This is Taiwan." Here are the hilarious (though maybe only to the people here) examples from today. This post in dedicated to Anna Meyer. Why do those children have guns? Are they going to keep those spikes up there? They don't speak Chinese in America? And "There are 7/11 in America? Posted by Rebekah House. Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Please pray fo...

Time in Taiwan: February 2009
http://littlehouseintaiwan.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I have recently been introduced to the history of mission work in Taiwan. It has always been something that is hard to learn more about because Taiwan is a little island and few people have come here or really even know where it is. However, one woman, Lillian Dickson, made a huge impression on the work of Christ in Taiwan. If you ever get a chance, check out Lillian Dickson. She was an amazing woman of God who should be remembered for the work she did for the Gospel. Baigang ...

Time in Taiwan: December 2008
http://littlehouseintaiwan.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 7, 2008. One of our friends from church, Q, took us to many of the fun tourist places in the area. We went to the Tropic of Cancer, the Aerospace Center, two sugarcane plants, an old rail station, and a natural gas deposit that looks like a waterfall of fire. We spent a great day together seeing all these places. Posted by Rebekah House. Sunday, December 07, 2008. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Missionaries Around the World. Last Week's Top Ten. http://littlehouseintaiwan.blogspot.com/2009/08/back-for-year-2.html
Monday, August 3, 2009. Back for Year 2. Because of our relaxed and shorter summer schedule, the few team Taiwan members who are here have been able to spent a lot of time in fellowship together. We have long dinners, watch movies, and go swimming at the local pool. There are only five of us here now but starting this week, more and more will be arriving. I will try to post a new story as often as possible, so keep reading! Posted by Rebekah House. Monday, August 03, 2009. Back for Year 2.

Time in Taiwan: Its That Easy?!?
http://littlehouseintaiwan.blogspot.com/2009/09/its-that-easy.html
Friday, September 4, 2009. Tonight was out first Friday Night Bible Study of the year. It was exciting to see everyone again and get to catch up on how everyone's summer went. After our singing time, we had a lot of time for fellowship. Another missionary and I were talking and she asked me why Erin (one of my Youth Group students) wasn't a Christian yet. I told her I didn't know. She suggested we ask her. Amy, you see, is a genius, and always uses the most direct methods. Erin: Yes, of course. At that h...
